Why it made our lists

  • Secret Santa gifts under $25

A double-walled porcelain mug with a silicone lid and artwork by Aboriginal artist Alma Granites, gift boxed. For a coffee drinker who sits at a desk. It is not leak-proof, so not for a bag.

What it is

Double-walled insulated porcelain mug with a silicone lid, 12.5cm tall, featuring artwork by Aboriginal artist Alma Granites. Gift boxed.

A double-walled porcelain mug with a silicone lid, printed with artwork by Alma Granites of Warlukurlangu Artists, an Aboriginal-owned art centre in the Central Australian desert communities of Yuendumu and Nyirripi. The inner and outer walls trap air so the outside stays cooler to hold than a single-wall mug. It arrives in a gift box with notes about the artist and the artwork, and royalties from each sale go to the artist.
