Why it made our lists

  • Thank-you gift ideas

Three beeswax food wraps in three sizes, a useful thank-you for a neighbour who cooks and is trying to use less cling film. Cool water only, and the wax wears thin after about a year.

  • Gifts under $25

Three beeswax food wraps in three sizes, for a cook trying to cut cling film. Cool water only, no raw meat, and the wax wears thin after about a year.

What it is

Three beeswax food wraps: small (7 x 8 in), medium (10 x 11 in) and large (13 x 14 in). Made from GOTS-certified organic cotton coated in beeswax, organic plant oil and tree resin. Warm the wrap with your hands to seal it over a bowl, cheese or half a lemon. The shop says a wrap lasts up to a year with care.

Three reusable food wraps made from cotton coated in beeswax, used in place of cling film. The warmth of your hands softens the wax so the wrap moulds around half an avocado, a block of cheese or the top of a bowl, then holds its shape as it cools. Bee's Wrap says the seal breathes, which helps food stay fresh. You wash them and use them again. The set has a small, medium and large wrap in one print.
