An automatic dress watch with a navy sunray dial, white subdials showing the day and month, and a date window at six o'clock. It runs on a Japanese Miyota mechanical movement that winds from wrist motion or by hand, so it needs no battery but will stop if left off for a couple of days. The case is polished steel with a sapphire crystal, worn on a navy leather strap with a folding clasp.

At 42 mm it wears large on slim wrists, and the strap is leather-grain, not genuine alligator.

Skip it for someone with small wrists, since the case is 42 mm across and 49 mm lug to lug.
