Why it made our lists
A pocket fountain pen that posts to full length, for a journaller or student with a pencil case. The extra fine nib can feel scratchy to beginners, and the clip is extra.
What it is
A Kaweco Sport pocket fountain pen in a honey-coloured finish with an extra fine nib. The Sport is short when capped and full length when the cap is posted on the back.
A compact pocket fountain pen from the German maker Kaweco, in a warm honey-yellow finish. The Sport is short when capped and posts to full length when the cap is pushed onto the back, with the brand's familiar eight-sided body. This one has an extra fine nib, which draws a thin line suited to small handwriting and note-taking. It sits in the Kaweco Collection, a run of special colours.
