Why it made our lists

  • Gifts for teens

A compact wireless keyboard with magnetic switches whose actuation point can be tuned, for gaming and typing on Mac or Windows. For a teen gamer who wants a real keyboard. It is louder than a laptop's.

  • Gifts for gamers

A compact wireless keyboard with magnetic switches whose actuation point you can adjust. For a PC or Mac gamer still on the keyboard that came with the computer. Louder than a laptop keyboard.

What it is

A compact 75% wireless keyboard with magnetic Hall-effect switches whose actuation point can be adjusted, for gaming and typing on Mac or Windows.

A compact 75% keyboard, with arrow and function keys but no number pad, that uses magnetic switches instead of mechanical contacts. Each key's actuation depth can be set from 0.2 to 3.8 mm, and Rapid Trigger resets keys quickly for gaming. It connects by 2.4 GHz dongle, Bluetooth to three devices, or cable, and switches between Mac and Windows layouts. The frame is aluminium with wood accents, it weighs nearly a kilo, and key settings are changed in a web app.
