Why it made our lists
Gifts for your brother or sister
A cheap, battery-free four-lens film camera for a sibling curious about film who likes playful sequence shots. Toy-camera image quality, and film and developing cost extra.
A cheap, battery-free film camera with four lenses that fire in sequence onto one frame. Fun for someone curious about film who wants playful shots. The image quality is toy-camera level.
What it is
A multi-lens film camera with four 26mm lenses that take four pictures in sequence within about a second on one 35mm frame. Fixed f/8 aperture, 1/60s shutter, fixed focus from 1 m to infinity, no battery needed. Comes with a hand strap and manual.
A small plastic film camera in a clear body with four lenses that fire one after another, so each press puts four sequential shots across one 35mm frame. There is nothing to set: focus, aperture and shutter speed are fixed and it needs no battery. It loads ordinary 35mm film, which is bought and developed separately, and works best in good light given the fixed f/8 aperture and 1/60 second shutter.
