Why it made our lists

  • Gifts for travellers

What it is

A small Bluetooth transmitter that plugs into a headphone jack, such as a seat-back screen on a plane or gym equipment, so wireless headphones can be used with it. It can pair two sets of headphones for shared listening and runs 25+ hours per charge over USB-C.

A small Bluetooth transmitter that plugs into a standard headphone jack, so wireless headphones can be used with seat-back airline screens, gym machines or older stereos. It can connect two pairs of headphones at once for shared listening, has buttons for pairing, volume and mute, and charges over USB-C. The deluxe version adds an airline plug adapter and a bag.
