What it is
A portable classroom kit with supplies to teach about 40 children in an emergency, including a lid that doubles as a blackboard. Donated through CanadaHelps.
A charitable donation to UNICEF Canada made through CanadaHelps, covering the cost of a School in a Box kit. The kit gives a teacher in a crisis area the supplies to run lessons in a tent or under a tree when schools have been lost. Nothing physical is delivered to the person being honoured; the gift is the donation, with a tax receipt to the buyer.
