Why it made our lists

  • Gifts for gardeners

For a gardener who plans sowing by the calendar, or anyone who likes botanical art on the wall. It only covers one year and is paper, so it needs a flat envelope to post.

What it is

A full-size 2027 wall calendar showing 13 original artworks made for the company's seed packets, with a grid that marks moon phases and a range of holidays, seasonal poetry, and a 2028 preview page.

A full-size wall calendar for 2027 from a seed company that commissions art for its seed packets. Each month shows one of those paintings above a plain grid, with an extra image on a preview page for 2028. The grid marks moon phases and many holidays, which some gardeners use for timing sowing. A poem runs through the months. It hangs on a wall and gets written on like any month-per-page calendar.
