What it is

500ml porcelain teapot with a textured glaze inspired by traditional Japanese pottery, made in Japan, with an 18-8 stainless steel strainer. Microwave and dishwasher safe. White, beige or black.

A porcelain teapot from Kinto's Ceramic Lab line, developed with potters in Hasami, Japan. It has a rough-textured glaze, so colour and surface vary from pot to pot, and some show scorch-like marks from firing. A removable stainless steel strainer sits inside for loose leaf tea. The pot holds 500 ml, about two to three cups, and can go in the microwave and dishwasher, while the strainer is dishwasher safe but not for microwaves.
