Why it made our lists
A shorter Ticket to Ride with bigger cards and a simpler map, about 15 to 30 minutes a game. Parents tend to enjoy it too. The map is US-only, which matters less than it sounds.
What it is
A shorter Ticket to Ride with a simpler map and larger cards, where players connect cities by train. Games last about 15 to 30 minutes.
A simplified children's version of the Ticket to Ride train game, played on a map of the United States. Players draw coloured train cards, spend them to claim short routes, and try to link the two cities on each ticket. Routes are short and scoring is simple: the first player to finish six tickets wins, with a bonus ticket for linking the two coasts. Games are short enough for younger children to stay with.
