Why it made our lists

  • Gifts for pets and pet ownersOur top pick

For the dog that chews hard and gets bored fast. Long treats wedge in and the ridges grip them, so a chew lasts longer. Treats are not included, so tuck a few in the box.

What it is

A tough treat-holding dog toy. Side openings release scent, a hole runs through it so long treats stick out, and flexible ridges grip treats of different sizes. The small size is priced here; a large is also sold.

A tough rubbery chew toy for dogs with a hollow channel through the middle. A bully stick or dental chew is pushed inside, and flexible ridges grip it so the dog has to work at it, making the treat last longer. Side vents let the smell out. It is made in Montana from West Paw's recyclable Zogoflex material and can go on the dishwasher's top rack.
