Why it made our lists
For a pet lover whose own animals already have too many toys. The donation buys treats and toys for shelter animals in B.C. Check at checkout how the recipient finds out about it.
What it is
A gift catalogue donation that buys treats and toys for shelter animals waiting for adoption. Larger 3-day and 1-week options are listed at $45 and $105.
A charitable gift rather than a physical item: the money pays for treats and toys for animals waiting for adoption at BC SPCA shelters in British Columbia. The giver chooses how much enrichment to fund, from a single gift up to a week's worth. The recipient gets the gesture rather than a parcel, and the SPCA says funds go where the need is greatest across its animal protection work.
